I met some of the group members of 'Families Fighting For Justice' campaigning in St John's Shopping Centre. They're not only a group campaigning for change, but a strong support network offering help and guidance to families who find themselves in similar sad circumstances.

Sorry - as this is a slightly longer video than normal, I had a problem with the compression. This version should work fine. Sorry about that.
Many tributes have managed to recapture the look, the voice or the moves, but few have been able to successfully combine all three. With an electrifying stage presence, magnetic charisma,an amazing voice and even the looks - Elvis Brettini is an act not to be missed, especially in Kirkby.

Twenty-one years ago, Tommy Callagher started work in Liverpool as the city centre milkman. Through this new status, he became Liverpool’s number one charity fundraiser, his boundless energy and commitment earned him the accolade ‘Milkman of the Year’ and he became a local celebrity. He painted his milk float gold - a shining symbol around the city representing the lives he wanted to transform.
In June 2008 Tommy went into retirement and his milkman memorabilia is now relegated to the loft. He is no longer ‘Milkman Tommy’, just Tommy Callagher.

Artists BEN PARRY & JACQUES CHAUCHAT of Jump Ship Rat unite once again to create a giant mobile water fountain. An endless waterfall 40 meters wide pours from above as if from nowhere, circumventing a narrow boat and hiding it behind a wall of water. Theatrical and playful the gliding water fountain comes to grace the Albert Dock. Erupting from the dock, this is an aesthetic and sensory delight that hypnotises the viewer into quiet contemplation, then passing through tunnels and canals it disappears leaving only the still pool. A Liverpool Commissions project; JSR U-51 celebrates the City's maritime history through the element water. Water is the source of all life on earth, as such it has appeared in culture across the ages as a metaphor for the cycle of life, genesis and power; a spiritual symbol and an evocation of the natural world.
