We emigrated to Canada in 1957 but my heart is still in Liverpool and I have wonderful memories of my childhood at 33 Cairns St. and shopping on Granby Street. <br />I recall the old lamp lighter, the horse & cart with all it's shining brass delivering coal. The rag & bone man,that gave you a Goldfish, that died an hour later. One cold water tap.
